Mike Kelley always knew he was going to be an artist. He focuses a lot on ritual. Kelley likes to work with stuffed animals and put them together in certain ways to create a story. He enjoys to get peoples responses since they are always different than what he was expecting. Most people thought that his work was representing abuse that had happened in his life. Kelley had no intentions of that but for some reason that is how it came across to people so he took that and incorporated it into his other artwork.
Hiroshi Sugimoto uses the windows and shading to create interesting photographs. He first showed in interest in photography when he visited a lot of 20th century architecture to take pictures. Sugimoto likes to play with the positives and negatives of certain pictures.
